Fulfillment Units
A fulfillment unit is the place that fulfills approved carts, for example the central warehouse or the purchasing department. Every cart belongs to exactly one fulfillment unit. When a cart is approved, STREAM Cloud emails the order documents to the unit's order recipients.
You manage fulfillment units under Request Management → Fulfillment units.
Creating and Editing a Fulfillment Unit
Each fulfillment unit has the following settings:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | A descriptive name, 3 to 50 characters. |
| Code | A short unique code, up to 8 characters. It cannot be changed after creation. |
| Order recipients | The email addresses that receive the order documents (see below). |
| Order document format | PDF or CSV (see below). Only shown when CSV order documents are enabled for you. |
| Description | Optional free text. |
A fulfillment unit can only be deleted when it has no assortments and no active carts.
Order Recipients
Approving a cart produces up to two documents:
- Picking list for stocked items.
- Order list for order-only items and free text positions.
A document is only created if the cart contains matching items. Who receives which document depends on the recipient settings:
| Setting | Emails sent |
|---|---|
| One order recipient | One email with all documents |
| Separate order recipients with the same address | One email with all documents |
| Separate order recipients with different addresses | The picking list goes to the stocked-items recipient, the order list to the order-only items recipient |
Approvers
Use Manage approvers in the fulfillment unit's menu to choose who may approve carts for this unit. Only selected approvers can approve its carts.
Order Document Format
By default, order documents are sent as PDF. If an ERP, materials management or shop system imports the orders automatically, you can switch a fulfillment unit to CSV. The emails then contain a CSV file instead of each PDF; recipients, subjects and email texts stay the same.
The CSV format requires the Order documents: CSV feature in your subscription. Without it, the format setting is not shown and all documents are sent as PDF. Contact MOYAFLOW to enable it.
If the feature is removed later, fulfillment units that are set to CSV keep the setting but show it read-only. Their emails contain PDFs until the feature is enabled again.
The structure of the CSV file is described in CSV Order Documents.
